Is there a limit to how long a trip can be? There is. A trip cannot be more than 10 days.
Can I use TrvlHistory to track my month-long trip? You cannot do it as one trip, as a trip cannot be more than 10 days. You have to split it to 3 separate trips.
Can I get the free trip credits more than once? You cannot. Free trip credits are given only once.
Can I sign up with a different email address to get free trip credits? Please don't.
Can I delete a trip I started by mistake? You cannot. Please contact us via the Contact Us section in the app and we will delete the trip.

Can I change the name of the trip after the trip has begun? Yes, you can. To edit, please tap on the trip name from the Trip Details screen.
Can I make changes to a note I added? Yes, you can. To edit, please tap on the note from the Notes screen.
Can I delete a note I added? Yes, you can. Please swipe left on the note to delete it.
How can I report an error or an issue? Please use the Contact Us section in the app to report any errors or issues.
Why do you ask for "Always Allow Location Access Even When Not using the app" permission? For optimal performance, the app needs "Always Allow" permission. The location accuracy and battery performance will be better. Rest assured, unless you have a trip currently in progress, we will not track your location.
Will the app work with "While In Use" permission? Yes. The app will work with "While In Use" permission. But you might notice a decrease in location accuracy and battery performance.
How accurate is the location captured by the app? The accuracy can vary a lot. Usually the accuracy is better in cities than in the countryside. Even in cities, if you are surrounded by tall buildings, the accuracy will not be good. It all depends on your location and the location tracking sensors.
Will the app work if there is no cell phone signal? Yes. The app will work even if these is no cell phone signal. But if you are in a location where there is no cell phone signal, it is likely the location accuracy will not be very good.
Why has the app has not captured anything while I was traveling by train? Location tracking sensors usually have difficulty working inside a train.
Will the app continue to capture locations if I switch my phone to Airplane Mode? No. All the location tracking sensors are turned off in Airplane mode. The app will not be able to capture locations.
Why is the app unresponsive when I open it after a long time? This might happen when you are in the middle of your trip and you hadn't connected to a cell phone or wifi network in a while. Without internet connection, all location data is saved in your phone. When you connect to the internet, the app will save all the data to the cloud. This process can take anywhere from few seconds to few minutes, depending on the size of the data collected since the last time you were connected to the internet. The app will be unresponsive while it is saving the data to the cloud. We suggest you leave the app as is, and try again after 5-10mins.
Will you sell my email address to third parties? No. We do not sell you persornal data. The only way we make money is when you purchase Trip Credits.

Can I share my current trip link with anyone? Yes. You can share your trip link with anyone. If it's a trip currently in progress, we advice you to exercise extreme caution before sharing your trip link. Anyone with your trip link will be able to track your movements in real-time. They will know where you are and where you will not be. For this reason, we urge you to share your trip only with close family and friends that you fully trust. To share your trip link with everyone else, we suggest you wait until the end of the trip.
What do I do if I shared my current trip link with someone by mistake? You should mark your trip "Private" by going to Share Your Trip section of your trip.
Is there a way to stop the app from tracking my location for a time period? Yes. You can use the Pause button to stop the app from tracking your location.
Can I get a refund for Trip Credits I purchased by mistake? Sorry, we do not give refunds for Trip Credit purchases.
Do I need to sign up for an account to use the app? No, you don't need to sign up for an account to use the app. But you need an account if you want to perform certain operations.
How can I change my email address associated with my account? You can change your email address from the Account screen in the app.
How can I change the password associated with my account? You can change your password from the Account screen in the app.
What do I do if I forgot my password? You can use the Forgot Password link in the login page on the website, or the login screen in the app to resert your password.

Will deleting my account delete all the data associated with my account? Yes. Deleting your account will delete all your trips and associated data. The data cannot be recovered.

How do I login to the website? You use the same email address and password that you use to login to the app.
Do I have to create a new account to login to the website? No. You use the same email address and password that you use to login to the app.
Can I delete a trip from the website? No. It is not possible to delete a trip from the website. If you want to delete a trip, please contact us using the Contact Us section in the app.
Can I delete some location pings from my trip? No. At this time, you cannot delete location pings from your trip.
